The Platinum Trio was founded by Ashley Ochs, a Certified Child Life Specialist and Certified Grief Counselor. The Platinum Trio offers resources for families and professionals to help children express emotions, while processing and understanding difficult situations.

The Platinum Trio was established to provide support for and instill confidence in families and professionals before, during, and after difficult conversations with children, from conversations regarding daily interactions and behaviors to explaining the death of a loved one.

Ashley has been a Certified Child Life Specialist since 2008 and is also a Certified Grief Counselor. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Child Development with a minor in Spanish in 2008, followed by a Master of Arts in Psychology in 2015.

With this education and training, Ashley has been supporting grieving families and helping children understand death and dying since 2008.

Most of the resources from The Platinum Trio are interactive coloring books, meaning that children can color, draw, and write in all the resources to truly engage in the conversations and showcase their own feelings, allowing for open and honest emotional expression and demonstration of their current understanding.

Each page of the interactive coloring books is one-sided, allowing you to remove pages to customize the book to the needs of each child and your story.
